Absolutely a phenomenal organization. We sponsor a young man in El Salvador and had an opportunity to visit him in April. The project he is educated at supports 300 children and their families. It has been running for the last 8 years and we were the FIRST sponsors to visit this project! We had such a warm welcome from the children. I have done a lot of work with Meals On Wheelsand I know they are mostly funded by United Way. I think its wonderful seeing the results for yourself when you hand the person recieving the meal, knowing without that organization there would be no meals.

Thank you for posting this It is a wonderful foundation. My best friend in high school was diagnossed with CF. The cystic fibrosis foundation was a large part of his life. They had support groups and education on CF. I think very highly of the organization, and know that they are doing amazing things in research, and bringing awarness to the disease.

I just wanted to say thanks for posting this. St Jude's Hospital has a special place in my heart. Living in Nashville, TN most of my life, you hear of kids who have gone to St Judes. In fact, a little girl I knew went there for leukemia treatment. Her name was Macey, and she was 5 yrs old. Unfortuantely, she passed away a few years ago, but while at St Jude's, she received the best possible care.
