New to board but in need of prayers. Our son is named Michael, he is 6 years old. Michael was born mild Cerebral Palsy and has yet to utter his first words. He is a happy boy and very loving. Hi Terry Tough love is tougher than i expected. Not that anyone can foresee these things happening to their kids. We read about it happening to others, and can't imagine it touching your own family. We're still looking into our options for her. Which gives us some time to explore and get some things happening for her. MIranda is going to be off work for 30 days..This started on the 25 of January.She has been to the chiropractor 2 times and will continue to go each week.Her job is secure for now as she had to write a letter to her doctor requesting her info and give it to her work to put her in a leave of absence state.

Sage, My prayers are with you and your family. With disabilty I know it is hard, but hold on, because they can not deny you 3 times with out a state hearing. Sorry to say especially in Ohio they will deny phyiscal disabilities 2 3 times. But remember they can't deny you after 3 without a state hearing. Dont give up that is what they want you to do. From what I read it will be a long road, it is not curable, or treatable with medicine. How long has she been on the medicine for panic attacks, if it has been long enough to see if medicine is helping or hurting, not saying take her off the medicine. Miranda: BACK IN THE ER!!!!!!!!Miranda went back to work this morning!Before she left she ate food and was feeling fine.I received a call as soon as I got to work from Karen one of her supervisors that the "squad" was picking Miranda up because she was COLD & CLAMMY and started to PASS OUT!!We just left the ER and now we are home.An appointment was made for the DOCTOR TODAY........

Miranda HAD a better day!She was VERY SCARED as she went to work to face the "meeting" that was planned.All day I kept getting calls saying that haven't come yet!Finally a NURSE MANAGER told her that she was going to get another shot!!!She is allowed NO MORE DAYS OFF until JUNE.Miranda was not so sore today!She is looking for a FULL TIME JOB!So things are looking better!

Miranda did go to work on Friday, but Saturday she had to go back to the doctor!Some muscle tone was lost over time.This is why she is still so weak.According to the UNION she works with, she is OVER the amount of days allowed for being missed.Monday she will be in a meeting to discuss with her about her absences.She was told on FRIDAY that if she missed ONE more day she would be TERMINATED!!!Miranda is very scared right now.

Miranda has not been on pain medication all day!Right now she is choosing her own choice of food for the first time!They will monitor her for lunch and see if she can tolerate it.If this is the case, then she may be allowed to go home today!We will make sure that she get prescriptions for each of the medications she is taking now first.

Yesterday Miranda received a bile reflux and diarrhea combination powder mixed into water.This seemed to calm her stomach down.As for the acid reducer, it too is working.The patient advocate is working with us to correct the ER, the doctor, and the medicine mishap to make sure it doesn't happen again.Miranda may try to eat for the first time in two weeks.........

I just spoke with a doctor.They will be running an MRI on her brain.This whole time she has had several headaches.The possiblity of a tumor is present.Also, they will be giving her Prevacid again to try and control the blie and acid in her stomach.This may help control things so she can eat again.

Oh, sweetie I am so sorry to hear the sorrow and sadness in your life. I have to agree with Jeremy in that God does have a plan for your life and He can get you through this if you let him.
